Wavy Motorcycle Brake Discs optimise brake performance with a more efficient area of pad contact compared to standard round discs, these discs not only look great but also offer lighter weight over standard OEM models.
Brake Disc Material: Stainless steel 420 (2Cr13) Outer ring & Aluminum alloy 6061 inner ring.
Our wave rotors are laser cut and made of a unique high carbon 420 stainless steel material that has been pre-heat treated and parallel double disc ground to assure perfect flatness and the most efficient contact surface between pad and rotor.
Why Wavy Discs? The reason to have wavy discs is that they keep the rotors cooler for longer due to the gaps in the disc and the larger surface area.
Why floating brake discs? Floating brake discs don't warp during heat/cooling extremes because the outer rotor expands off the centre carrier and contracts back onto the carrier as it heats up and cools. This keeps the carrier (centre part from warping) being physically disconnected from the heat.
